We are an Adelaide based bin cleaning company that also provides a bin chute cleaning service to medium and high rise buildings that is safe, affordable, professional and reliable.
Regular cleaning and sanitising of the bin chute systems are essential to maintaining healthy hygiene standards.
We incorporate a high pressure, hot water, environmentally friendly bin chute cleaning process. The process includes cleaning of bin chute doors, bin chute and also the bottom of the bin chute which may include a compactor.
Our aim is to provide an exceptional service which thoroughly cleans and protects your bin chute surfaces from harmful germs and bacteria which can make their way from inside the chute to the chute doors and beyond.
Process
Residents are given advance notice that their bin chutes will be closed for a period for cleaning.
Degreaser and sanitising fluid is applied to bin chute through chute doors on each level.
The chute system is turned to maintenance to ensure residents cannot open any of the chute doors during the clean.
The chute cleaning equipment is winched through the chute to the top floor of building.
Local smoke alarms are isolated, so they are not triggered during the clean.
The cleaning equipment is connected at base to our high pressure hose and system. The fast-spinning washer-head of the specialised tool sprays a consistent stream of hot water at the interior walls as it moves up and down the chute until it is cleaned like-new.
Once the chute has been cleaned, chute doors on each floor are wiped clean and a fragrant deodoriser mist is spayed into the chute at each level.
The bottom chute entry is scraped, brushed and pressure washed with all dirty water and debris disposed of in accordance with SA Water and EPA Guidelines.

- Bins are cleaned either ongoing (2, 4 or 6 weekly) or one-off.
- We will remind you by text/email the night before your bins are due to be cleaned.

- Koala Bin Wash offers a comprehensive low-cost cleaning process for your wheelie bins of all sizes up to 1100L.
